Field Sales Manager/Lead Generator

The Field Sales Manager will be responsible for obtaining and generating leads through a variety of methods including home and garden shows, canvasing new and existing home developments, and creating new business leads and partnerships.

Full time, normal business schedule plus weekend home shows. This is a perfect job for a sales-oriented individual or recent graduate interested in pursuing sales or account management.

Base Salary, plus commission with possible bonus for exceeding goals depending on experience and success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Brand Ambassador - Home and Garden Shows

  • Represent the company booth at all home shows and events.

  • Greet attendees, pass out handouts, encourage attendees to sign up for drawing.

  • Explain all solutions in the display booth.

  • Demonstrate each item and explain solutions to visitors

  • Collect contact information from visitors to the booth.

  • Set appointments for in- home design consultation.

Follow Up

  • Call all leads obtained from the home shows and events.

  • Set appointments for in-home design consultations.

  • Follow up on past leads from home shows.

  • Follow up on all bids given to customers.

  • Interacting by phone with the customers to create brand awareness and attempt to schedule demo appointments for services.

Design Appointments

  • Arrive at customer homes within scheduled times.

  • Demonstrate products using portable display and explain various solutions to customers.

  • Advise customer as to the best solutions for their needs.

  • Measure all the openings, draw map with all measurements and special notes.

  • Give bid to customer based on quantity and products

  • Call office to schedule installations

  • Follow up with all customers within 2-3 days if they did not place an order.

Lead Generation

  • Canvas neighborhoods where an appointment has been done for new customers.

  • Canvas new home developments for potential customers

  • Ask customers who purchase for referrals

  • Seek out areas for potential new customers such as new home developments

  • Find other potential business partnerships or cooperative advertising opportunities.

  • Requesting information, making appointments, collecting information or conducting follow-up.

  • Presenting a brief script to schedule appointment.

  • Describing products and services, responding to questions, and obtaining customer information.

  • Obtaining possible customer leads and conducting follow up on first point of contact.

  • Entering data and maintaining database of existing customers or potential customers.

Skills and Specifications

  • Experience in industry related computer applications.

  • Great communication skills as well as ability to work with others in close manner

  • Able to react effectively and calmly in all situations

  • Able to maintain customer confidentiality.

  • Comfortable on the using the phone as a prospecting tool in a professional and articulate manner. 

Hiring Requirements

  • Proven track record in similar type of environment and references to confirm such.

  • Pass a drug test and background check.

  • Provide two (2) professional business references.

  • Provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

  • Must have own vehicle and clean DMV record.
